Will The Weigh Safe Hitch Pin Fit My Toyota’s Thicker Receiver?

Question:

Will the pin that comes with this particular model work with newer Toyotas that have a thicker double walled receiver tube? Is there a replacement pin?

Welcome to etrailer! I'm glad you found us.

I wasn't quite sure on this one, so I went out to our warehouse and pulled the Weigh Safe Hitch w/ Built-In Scale # WS66ZR to measure the pin for you. As you can see in the pictures I attached, the usable length is just shy of 3-11/16".

From what I am showing on my end, this should work with your receiver, but it definitely doesn't hurt to head out and double-check the measurement on your Toyota. As long as your receiver measures 3-5/8" or less across where the pin passes through, you will be good to go. If yours is wider than that, just let me know what measurement you get and I can find you a pin that will work.
