Rear Stabilizers for Ironbull Dump Trailer

Question:
We are purchasing a Ironbull 96 x 16 21K deckover dump trailer. It currently doesnt have rear stabilizers and we are need to purchase some. Big problem is location and length. deck height is 35 and because the sides fold down we need something that would get in the way of the fold down sides. So looking at 3.5 of clearance in space between side of fold down door and 5 of space wall to weld rear stabilizers on too. Have any recommendations?

Hey Benjamin! I think the Ark Drop Down Corner Stabilizer Jacks # ARK77FR are going to be your best option with the limited space and fold down sides on your Ironbull. These weld on and can swing up out of the way when not in use, so you won't have a fixed jack interfering with the sides.
The jacks are 33" long when fully extended, so with your 35" deck height you can add blocks underneath as needed. They are rated for 1,929 lbs each when positioned straight down at 90 degrees. They can also be used at 30 or 60 degrees, but there is no weight rating in those positions.
How much weight are you looking to support with the stabilizers?

it is a 21k rated trailer so it will be load 10k+ construction equipment. I was looking at the Curt 5K swivel (15" travel) mounted trailer jack (one on each side) as they have a pin that locks on to the weld point so they can be left on when need but then can unpin them from the trailer to move out the way when folding down the sides.
