Hey Brad! Since your truck has a B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch, you'll need the B&W Companion item # BWRVK3500 or the B&W Companion Slider item # BWRVK3400 if your truck has a short bed.

The B&W Companion item # BWRVK3500 and Companion Slider item # BWRVK3400 5th wheel hitches are designed specifically for your truck's B&W gooseneck hitch. They have a square post built into the base that inserts inside the Turnoverball's square receiver.

Both the B&W Companion item # BWRVK3500 and Companion Slider item # BWRVK3400 have a 20,000 lbs towing capacity. The slider will provide you with 12" of travel that will allow you to have a wider turning clearance.

Please note that since your truck has the Turnoverball gooseneck hitch you can not use the rotating feature if your 5th wheel trailer has a rotating pin box. You can tow with it but you will have to lockout the rotating part. The square receiver can not handle the force put on it by the rotating pin box.

What kind of 5th wheel trailer do you have and what kind of truck are you driving? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

Hi Brad. I have a 2024 Chevy 2500 with a 6 foot bed with the flip goose neck pin in the bed. Im using the B and W Companion gooseneck to 5th wheel hitch and I could not be happier with it. Instructions are easy to put together and instal. I pull a 34 foot Salen Hemisphere light 5th wheel that weighs about 12,00 pounds fully loaded. If youihave any question feel free to ask.

We upgraded our pickup last year from an ‘05 Silverado 2500 to a ‘21… with the turnover ball. So, we also upgraded to a B&W Companion hitch. And I love it! Pulled our fifth wheel last year from Sandhills of Nebraska to Glacier, Yellowstone, Tetons, and back home with no issues. This years we have been to desert SW, Missouri, Rushmore, and NE Wyoming and still love it! I find it much easier to hitch up/unhitch with the lever system at the front, than with my older Husky hitch that required pulling from the side. Install was easy after watching eTrailer video, even for me!!

Hey Brad! I have a 17' F250 short bed with the BW turnover gooseneck ball, and I ordered the BW Companion from Etrailer. It's a beast, made well, tows quiet, and the ability to mount it straight to your bed using the gooseneck receiver in your bed is a huge benefit without getting another hitch. My last truck I had a slider, but I used it only once and I don't think I really needed it at that point, just precautionary. I set this one to a notch behind the rear axle for a little extra clearance from my fifth wheel. Towing a 40' Forest River and I've had some pretty tight turns to make, and hasn't been an issue. All in all, the best option for your current gooseneck.
