Frame Mounting Brackets for a Reese 15K 5th Wheel Hitch on a 2022 Ram 2500

Question:

Seems Reese hitches parent company has declared bankrupsy I recently bought a used Reese Pro 15K fifth wheel hitch. I have mounting rails. Im looking for the frame to rail mounting kit for my 2022 Ram 2500. Can you help me? Thanks

Hi Kurt, yes, I can help with that. For your 2022 Ram 2500, you need the Curt Custom 5th Wheel Bracket Kit, part # C16427, to mount industry standard above bed base rails to the truck frame. Reese is going out of business but the Curt brand will work well. These brackets are custom fit for your Ram and do not require drilling into the frame.

I would just want to make sure the rails you already have are standard industry rails before you order, since that is what the # C16427 brackets are designed to work with.

Do you happen to know the brand or part number of your existing mounting rails?

Thank you for your response. Looks like just what we need. Will place an order soon. Don't have the part number, but looks similar to what I saw online. If there is a compatible part number list perhaps you could let me know of them. Rails were from some time ago, but suspect numbers might be stamped on them, but may be obsolete. @KurtO Hi Kurt, you're very welcome. Most fifth wheel rails are industry standard and would work with these Curt brackets so I'm not really worried about that. I will send you a photo of an industry standard rail in email and you can tell me if that's what yours look like.
