Question:
Hi, do you sell any pintle hook hitches that work with a ball hitch that has a 1 shank diameter?

Hi Anthony!
I may have an option for you, but the smallest shank size for the ball out of the box (so to say) is going to be the Buyers Products 8 Ton Combination Hitch w/ Mounting Kit, 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # 33710045, which uses a 1-1/8" shank ball (like the # 337RB1780). There are none that we carry that use a ball with a 1" shank.
With that said, what I recommend doing is going with something like the Curt Pintle Hook with 1-7/8" Hitch Ball - Bolt On - 6,000 lbs/16,000 lbs # C48180. This comes with a 1-7/8" ball that has a 1-1/4" shank. That is going to be the typical size shank used on something like this, but you can adapt that with the Curt Hitch Ball Bushing - 1-1/4" to 1" - Zinc # F-2.
This will adapt that 1-1/4" opening to a 1" opening and you can use a ball with a smaller shank. However, I do need to say that you will be limited by the capacities of that specific ball. This won't affect the ball's capacities, but I did want to mention the limitations.
On that note, what are you going to be towing? And what are you towing it with?
