Hey Fermin, thanks for reaching out. I do have an option for adding a hitch to your 1987 Mitsubishi Mighty Max. Since there are no custom-fit bolt-on hitches available for your truck, I recommend going with a universal weld-on hitch like the Curt Class 5 Universal Hitch # C99CR.
The # C99CR has adjustable brackets that fit frames from 18" to 44" wide, so the first thing I recommend is measuring the outside-to-outside width of your Mighty Max frame. As long as your frame falls within that range, a qualified welding or fabrication shop can fit the hitch to the truck. This gives you a standard 2" receiver for a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. Just keep in mind that your Mighty Max's towing capacity remains the limiting factor, even though the hitch itself carries a much higher rating.
What are you planning on using the hitch for?
