Question:
I am towing a 2014 Bass Tracker Pro with a 2007 Toyota Camry. car = 1,000lb. USA 3,000lb Europe towing capacity- I dont know why its different between the two countries. boat and trailer = 1700lb. gross weight boat and trailer = 745lb. towing weight tongue weight = 140lb. class II Reese hitch receiver. i wanted to try and keep all the weights and forces on the hitch and hitch receiver to 50 of the rating. if i install the C45014 with the 9 5/8foot shank length, will that increase the tongue weight dramatically? Will the length add to the tongue weight?

I know that there are many factors that go into the different towing capacities between countries for your 2007 Toyota Camry including trailer requirements, towing conditions, liability, and laws. I recommend consulting with your local dealer regarding the towing capacity of your vehicle.
Using the Curt Class II Drawbar, # C45014, will neither increase or decrease the tongue weight of your 2014 Bass Tracker Pro and trailer. The tongue weight of your trailer would remain the same.
Although the gross towing weight capacity on the Curt Class II Drawbar, # C45014, and your Reese hitch receiver may be greater, you are limited by the component with the lowest towing weight capacity which would be your Camry at 1,000 pounds. To avoid damage to your vehicle, we do not recommend exceeding this weight capacity.
