Updated 09/02/2026 | Published 08/26/2026 >
Question:
I have a 2000 Monico Dynasty. The step for the entry is broken. I only need the part that pushes the 2 steps out. Is it possible to get one?

Hey Howard, thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you are needing a new gearbox/linkage for the entry steps on your RV. We should definitely have what you need, but those kinds of parts are not make and model specific to the RV. I'll need to know the model number of your step, or I'll need the part number from the current gearbox to narrow down which one you'll need.
What is the brand and model number of your step?

I replaced the motor and gearbox assembly as the gears of the gearbox had worn out. A simple procedure. However, put a block the steps in the out position because when you remove the gearbox assembly it will want to drop due to gravity and could result in some pinched fingers . OUCH! The block under the steps will also make it easier to install the assembly and make the connections. I just used a cardboard box as the block under the steps.
