Question:
Hi my new trailer has a dry weight of 1,200lbs T/W 10,200 and gross weight of 11,700lbs I am looking at your EQ64FR weight distribution hitch can I install it without voiding the warranty?

Thanks for reaching out Dale. I see you ordered the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ64FR, and based on the trailer specifications you provided, it will be an excellent fit for your setup. Using a weight distribution hitch does not automatically affect or void your trailer warranty. That said, some trailer manufacturers do place restrictions on weight distribution systems because of the way certain frames are constructed, although that isn't especially common. I'd recommend checking your trailer owner's manual for any specific guidance regarding weight distribution hitches. If the manual doesn't list any restrictions, the # EQ64FR should be a great way to improve stability, distribute tongue weight more effectively, and help you tow your trailer with confidence.
Where are you headed for the first trip with the new trailer?
