Hi Kevin, you read that correctly. The Firestone Dual Function Air Spring Control Panel part # F2145 does require a system with both a compressor and an air tank, so sadly it isn’t the right way to convert your current tankless single path system to dual path. The # F2145 is a pneumatic control panel that pulls stored air from a tank when you press the switches.

That’s the important difference with the system you have now. With a tankless setup, pressing your current control sends an electrical signal to turn the compressor on and inflate the air springs. The switches on the # F2145 control airflow from a reserve tank instead, so simply connecting your existing tankless compressor to this panel wouldn’t give the switches a way to turn that compressor on.

You can absolutely convert to dual path so you can adjust the driver and passenger side air bags independently, we just need to match the controls to the compressor system you already have rather than adding the # F2145 by itself.
