Hi Elliot,

AL-KO went out of business awhile back so getting a direct replacement won't be possible. The axle tag info you provided, AL-KO Axle U35/ 55383 1418, indicates this is a 3,500lb torsion axle.

However, we currently don't offer torsion axles, all of our axles are non-torsion leaf spring axles. Meaning that the suspension isn't built into the axle like how it is for torsion axles. The closest we have to this is the Timbren Axle-less Trailer Suspension with Electric Brakes part # A35RS545E that is rated for 3.5K, has no drop, and 5 on 4 1/2 hubs. If your trailer doesn't have brakes, they also have the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension with Idler Hubs part # A35RS545 with the same 3.5K rating, no drop, and 5 on 4 1/2 idler hubs. All the bearings, races, and seals are included in the hubs and can be easily greased using the grease zerk on the EZ-lube spindle.

What kind of trailer are you replacing the axle on?

It's working well. When mounting, I used 1/4 plate, CNC burn pattern & slot holes for alinement. First I drilled & mounted. It warn tire because of alinement. Had 2 plates made & bent. Put pc 2x2 tubing as my stabilize tub connecting them. Once properly alinement, it does work very nice
