Question:
For the Saris Bones EX3 on a 2025 Mazda CX5: Where do I place bottom pads of the rack? Do I need hatch huggers?

Hey Doug! The lower feet or pads on the Saris Bones EX 3 Bike Rack # SA803 go in the license plate well on your CX-5. Hatch huggers are not required by Saris for installation on your vehicle. See the notes attached below.

Hi, I have this bike rack, and I like it a lot. The bottom feet pivot, and sit in the license plate well of my Subaru Outback wagon. I just carried three bikes (two of the ebike/hybrids) without any issues. That is something that I never would have done with my generis straight bar rack. Probably around 105 lbs total. Rock solid.
