4-Way Vehicle Side Trailer Connector that Can be Spliced Into Wires from Trailer Wiring Harness

Question:

Id like to know if you have a purpose made male/female plug that can be used to join 2 lengths of 4-way flat wire? Its like to route the 4-way flat outside of my vehicle, but I have to cut the wires off of the trailer wiring power module since the 4-way plug wont fit through any grommets in my vehicle. Having a splice connector for this purpose would be nice instead of splicing the old fashioned way Electrical tape, etc.

I have a great option for you. Take a look at the Hopkins Quick Fix connector # HM48190. All you have to do is remove the screws on this connector, place the wires in the correct locations, and then put the cover and screws back on.

The white wire will go to the one exposed pin. Next to it will be the brown wire, then the yellow wire, and the green wire is last. This connector also has a handy LED test light feature so you can see if each function has power without using a meter or circuit tester.
