Looking for Replacement Landing Gear for 1993 NuWa Snowbird

Updated 08/02/2026 | Published 07/31/2026

Question:

I have an 1993 NuWa Snowbird fifth wheel camper and I need new landing jacks. Mine are 27 inches tall and the mounting stops are 11 1/2 inches outside to outside. I know Atwood is out of business but I would like to find something close to eliminate a lot of metal fabrication on the mounting brackets and I would like the hand crank to use the existing hole in the camper for the old jacks. Im pretty sure I cant drill through the metal to create a new hand crank whole. please help.

Hey Cody, I wish we had a set of landing gear that fit your 1993 NuWa Snowbird as-is without requiring any modifications but nothing that is offered right now fits the bracket dimensions you have. Like you also noticed Atwood is out of business and no one makes any landing gear replacements that use same specs. Best option would be to go with a modern set of landing gear like the etrailer part # RVLG-8HDL which will require installing new brackets but in the future you wouldn't need to move them again since you'll be at the industry standard. Depending on what you have to drill through on the body of your camper a hole saw might be all you need to put a new hole in place.
