Hey Jeff, thanks for reaching out. The Invision Aqua Max Fresh Water Pump # NV27FR is actually one of the quieter RV water pumps on the market. It's designed with five pump chambers instead of the more common three, which helps smooth out the water flow and significantly reduces pulsation. Less pulsation means less vibration and less noise, especially compared to older Shurflo-style pumps.

That said, no RV water pump is completely silent. You'll still hear it run, but how much vibration you notice depends just as much on the installation as the pump itself. If the pump is mounted directly to a hard surface with rigid plumbing, it can transmit vibration into the RV. Using flexible hose on both the inlet and outlet and mounting the pump on its rubber isolation feet makes a big difference. Installed that way, I'd expect the # NV27FR to run noticeably smoother and quieter than most OEM pumps.
