Question:

I am purchasing a 2026 Ram 4500 chassis cab and will be installing a flatbed without a hitch. We will be hauling a bigfoot truck camper in the bed. We will also be towing a car trailer. Will the torklift PN TL49YR work for this setup? I already own a torklift extension truss that we used with our previous truck. Also, I plan to tie the camper down to the flatbed. I also have the long torklift fastguns, but do they make a shorter version that would work on a flatbed? Thanks

Hey Tom, the Torklift hitch part # TL49YR that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2026 Ram 4500 cab and chassis and also will work great with your Torklift SuperTruss as this is the type of hitch your extender was designed to fit so this would for sure be the hitch to go with.

For flat bed trucks we have shorter Torklift turnbuckles like with the part # TLS9520 which has a reach range of 14 - 21-1/2 inches. Is your car trailer a race car trailer by chance?
