The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE for Electric Bikes # HLY84FR doesn't have a minimum tongue weight requirement. Instead, the limiting factor is the maximum tongue weight capacity of your vehicle and hitch receiver.

Based on a quick search, your 2016 Honda Pilot has a maximum tongue weight rating that generally falls between 350 and 500 lbs, depending on the trim level, drivetrain, and how the vehicle is equipped. I'd recommend verifying your specific rating by checking the manufacturer's label in the driver's door jamb and your owner's manual.

The # HLY84FR weighs 54 lbs and can carry two bikes weighing up to 80 lbs each. That means a fully loaded rack would weight about 214 lbs, which is well within the typical tongue weight capacity of a properly equipped Honda Pilot.

We use this rack on a RV. It is easy to install and has no problem carrying a heavy duty e-bike and a lighter e-bike. The hardest part is lifting the heavy e-bike up to put it on the rack. We would buy this product again.

I have used this for past 2 years + ... works for 2 LECTRIC bikes (about 65" each) but for ebikes with small 20" tires, I needed to buy stair step vinyl and wrapped the tire cross bars to a 5-6" diameter to raise the rear tires up high enough to keep the chain idle sprocket high enough to avoid contact with the braces. Getting the inside bike on and off is a pain & difficult for 1 person. I use a hitch extender which allows for the vehicle hatch door and pick-up tailgate to open.
