Will The Coleman-Mach WiFi Thermostat CM46MR Work For Controlling AC And A Furnace?
Updated 07/24/2026 | Published 07/20/2026 >
Question:
Hello, I have a 2018 Thor ACE 32.1 with two rooftop units. Both are AC only. Rear thermostat only has cooling while front thermostat controls both heat and cooling. However, my heat source is propane and not heat pump. Can this thermostat also work for propane heat?

Hello James, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Coleman-Mach WiFi Thermostat # CM46MR will work with your setup. It can control rooftop A/C units along with your propane furnace, so the fact that your heat source is propane instead of a heat pump isn't a problem. The thermostat supports both furnace and heat pump applications and will operate whichever type of heating system your RV is equipped with.
