Hey James, yeah you can parallel a couple smaller generators together to provide 50 amp power service to an RV. We actually have a kit that includes exactly that with the Champion Dual Fuel Inverter Generators w/ Parallel Kit # CH49FR. When running on gas this can be paralleled to 7,000 watts or if on propane 9,000 watts. What size that will make the most sense for you really comes down to the power requirements which is based on what you have in your RV. Are you running a couple AC units and a fridge etc?

With 7,000 watts of generator power like what the Champion I mentioned provides you can run the following all at same time:

Two 15,000 BTU air conditioners
Microwave
Refrigerator
Converter/charger
TV and lights
Coffee maker
