RV AC Unit Recommendation for 2014 Forest River V-Cross

Question:

Hello, Im replacing the rooftop air conditioner on my 2014 Forest River V-Cross travel trailer and would appreciate your help identifying the correct replacement. Current equipment: Existing rooftop AC: Dometic B59516.711C0 15,000 BTU R-410A Standard 14 × 14 roof opening Ducted system Dometic Single Zone LCD thermostat photo available if needed My goal is to purchase the correct replacement with the fewest compatibility issues. Could you please identify: The current Dometic direct replacement for model B59516.711C0. Whether I can reuse my existing: ceiling assembly, control box, and Single Zone LCD thermostat. If not, which complete Dometic conversion kit do you recommend? Does the replacement include the roof gasket and mounting hardware? Are any additional wiring adapters or conversion harnesses required? If you recommend replacing the control box and thermostat, could you provide the complete list of part numbers? Is there a quieter or more efficient Dometic model that you recommend instead of the standard replacement? If you were replacing this unit on your own trailer today, which Dometic replacement would you choose and why? My goal is to order everything at once so I dont discover Im missing parts during installation. Thank you for your assistance.

Hey Donavon, I can tell you put a lot of thought into this question and I really appreciate that. So the big issue is that your current setup has the older refrigerant in it which is not compatible with what is made now due to changes in EPA laws. So what that means is your current setup has to be replaced completely with an all new setup as nothing you have now will work with an upper unit that runs on R32 refrigerant.

Now if were me I would go with the Advent Air # ADV69QR as it comes with everything needed to install and would work really well. How soon do you need an AC unit and how much do you value having the best of the best? What climate will you be in.
