Looking For Replacement Pitch Arms For Awning On Grand Design 2400BH

Hello I have a Grand Design 2400BH and I’m looking to replace the hinge awning pitch arms to something more durable and adjustable. Are there any options for this? Thank you

Hey Thomas, thanks for reaching out. We do have replacement pitch arms like the Solera Replacement Pitch Arm Assembly # LC93BX, which is designed for Solera 2000 Series awnings. If your Grand Design has a Solera 2000 Series awning, it'll be a direct replacement for the original pitch arm.
That said, if your goal is to upgrade to something more durable, there really isn't a heavier-duty or more adjustable replacement available. The Solera pitch arms are designed as OEM replacement parts, so they'll perform the same as what came on your awning. If your current arms are bent or worn out, replacing them with new ones is the best option, but I wouldn't expect an increase in strength or adjustability over the factory design.

I had to replace one of mine when I left the awning out in the rain. It was bent and I hade bent it back into an approximated shape. Problem was it never rolled up right again. I tell you that to get to my point, I think anything other than the stock part I doubt would work.
