Question:

HELLO, I HAVE A PACE AREOSPORT 27 FOOT V-NOSE ENCLOSED TRAILER WITH TWO ROOF VENTS. IT HAS BEEN IN RV STORAGE SINCE 2007. THE QUALITY COVER I DID BUY AND PUT OVER IT DID NOT LAST 7 YEARS! AND WHEN IT RIPED FREE/APART IT TORE OFF BOTH PLASTIC VENT COVERS, SO I WAS TOLD WHEN FRIENDS PUT A NEW COVER ON FOR ME, AS I HAVE BEEN IN IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN SINCE I PARKED IT IN 2007. I WOULD LIKE TO REPLACE JUST THE MISSING COVERS WITH METAL COVERS I SEE AVAILABLE BUT DONT KNOW IF THEY WILL FIT MY PACE VENTS OR IF THE WHOLE VENT UNIT WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED WITH PART # V2110 SP-24? WOULD YOU KNOW IF JUST THE TOP PIECE/NEW METAL COVERS WILL WORK ON MY PACE TRAILER.

To determine if cover # BV0534-00 will fit or if you will need to replace the whole assembly with # V2110SP-24 you will need to look at the hinge style and the dimensions of the vent. If you look at vent lid # BV0554-01 and scroll down a little you will see a picture of a hinge. This is the same hinge that is on the metal cover. It is one long continuous hinge, basically a semi-circle in shape.

If the hinge is the same you have to look at the dimensions. The metal cover is 14-1/4 inches square. If it all matches then the lid by itself will work. If not you would have to replace the whole assembly.
