Question:
I have a 2003 dorsey boat trailer with tandem axles that hauls a 25 ft baja boat. Looks like my equalizers and shackle links and bushings are shot! I need help getting parts. Can I send you a picture of what I have???

Hey William, thanks for reaching out. I can definitely help point you in the right direction. The best way to track down the correct replacement equalizer and shackles are by simply measuring the current ones and finding a match. We will undoubtedly have replacements for you, we just want to be sure they are sized correctly.
For the equalizer, those are measured from center hole to center hole across. Then measure the distance from that line to the center of the top hole. I've included a picture showing how to measure.
Then for the shackles, those are measured from center hole to center hole. They are usually either 2-1/4" or 3-1/8" long but please check and confirm. The bushings are a standard size, so don't worry about measuring those.
Shoot me those measurements for your equalizer and shackles and I'm happy to look into it and make sure you get the right replacements. There is no way to add pictures to the comments on here, but if you want to email me pictures, I'm happy to take a look. My email is [email protected].
Are you wanting to do an upgraded/cushioned equalizer?

Thanks for your reply. I decided to take it to local trailer repair shop and have it repaired. They used etrailer parts.
