I have a patriot 18K BandW hitch with a slider. My question is would the curt adapter rail system work with it.

Unfortunately, the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch - Ford and Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C88KR are not compatible with your B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs # BWRVK3270.

The reason is that the lower crossmember on the Patriot slider base sits too low and contacts the adapter rails, preventing the hitch from sliding through its full range of motion. I've included a photo that highlights where this interference occurs.

At this time, there aren't any rail-to-puck adapters that are compatible with the B&W Patriot slider. Instead, the best solution for your 2026 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the factory puck system is the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch with Slider for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3775. This hitch is designed specifically for the OEM puck system, and wouldn't require the use of an adapter.

While I realize this is a more expensive option than adding an adapter, it provides the best fit and functionality. You should also be able to sell your current B&W Patriot slider to help offset some of the cost.

They worked excellent ! No problems no modifications worked perfect haven’t had to tighten anything after using them !

They worked with no hassle at all . I have a factory puck System on a 2024 chevy3500 with a Reese hitch. I’ve felt with e trailer for boat trailer parts they seem to be knowledgeable about their product. Good company to do business with.
