Can etrailer RapidRamps 5' Long Bolt-On Trailer Ramp Work on Trailer with Dovetail/Beavertail

Question:
I have a 18 car hauler with a 2 beavertail at the end ping about 6. Will your fold up ramp kits work with a trailer with a beavertail or do they need a flat deck to bolt to? I would be attaching it at the very end of the beavertail, not on the flat section of the trailer.

Hey Justin, there's no reason you couldn't install and use the etrailer RapidRamps 5' Long Bolt-On Trailer Ramps for over 6-1/2' Wide Trailers # e37XV on a trailer that has a dovetail/beavertail. It would work just as well on a trailer like that as it would on a flat deck trailer. What are you hauling on your trailer?

The ramps are a game changer. I installed them on an 18 foot car trailer including the 2 foot beaver tail. They fit perfectly and were easy to install. I have no mechanical skills. I was tired of pulling the heavy ramps from the side of the trailer. I also looked at someone welding the parts and attaching fold down ramps. I was told it would be over $1000. I use my trailer for a 30 horsepower tractor, mini Bobcat skid steer, or side by side.
