Question:

My trailer is a2021 coachman freedom express 259fkds. It has three dump valves: black water, kitchen gray and a bathroom gray. The two grey valves are located under the pullout. Im not sure if the grey valves are 3. I want to install valves on both grey water outlets. Have these pull wire valves been installed on the same model trailer as mine without pipe mods?

They have not Gary. The standard size of a water drain valve for gray tanks on RV's is 1-1/2" not 3". For a 1-1/2" drain valve, you'll need the Valterra Waste Valve Body w/ Flexible Cable for RV Gray Water Tank item # TC172. This drain valve also includes a 72" flexible stainless steel cable. The seals and installation hardware are also included.

The gate valves are just bolted into the assembly so you could easily unbolt the old valve and swap in Valterra Waste Valve Body item # TC172 to avoid cutting the pipe and gluing in new fittings.

Any thoughts on the pull wire routing in that the valves are located in about the center of the pullout?

@GaryM The only solution I would have to that is to use the Valterra Waste Valve Body w/ Flexible Cable item # VAL22RB, which has a longer 120" cable.
