Good Quality Adjustable Drop Hitch For Towing Multiple Trailers With Lifted Truck 2 Inch Receiver

Published 06/23/2026

Question:

I’m tired of keeping multiple ball mounts in the back of my truck. I tow a utility trailer, a small equipment trailer, and a camper, and they’re all a little different height. What’s a good one-mount setup for a 2inch receiver? I dont want any junk but not made of gold either.

Hey Travis, for a 2" receiver I’d look at the Fastway Flash Force Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # FA33FR first. It gives you both common ball sizes - 2" and 2-5/16" - and adjusts in 1" increments, so it’s a good one-mount solution for towing different trailers without carrying a pile of ball mounts.

The # FA33FR gives you up to 5" of drop or 5-1/2" of rise and is rated for 8,000 lbs on the 2" ball or 10,000 lbs on the 2-5/16" ball. If one of your trailers sits noticeably lower, the taller # FA93FR would be the better 2" receiver option since it gives you up to 7" of drop or 7-1/2" of rise.

Travis, I’d go # FA33FR if most of your trailers are close to level now, and # FA93FR if you need extra drop to fix a nose-high trailer. What truck are you towing with, and which trailer gives you the most height trouble?
