Can Safety Cable Extensions Be Used To Extend Safety Chains

Question:

can you use these cables as extensions for the safety chains on a travel trailer TT? My TT is 11k lbs, 2026 sport trek 343vik, so cables are well over the weight capacity of TT. I am thinking about getting the gen y 16k torso hitch and know some folks have needed safety chain extensions for their TT. Thanks Robert
