Is the HU87FR a generation II with the weather resistant cap for the cord connection? Looking for that feature in a 50 amp with Bluetooth and auto shutdown. Gary

The Power Watchdog part # HU87FR is a Generation 1 unit, so it does not have the weather-resistant cord connection cap that you're referring to. It does have the weather-resistant clamshell housing around the electronics, but the plug connection itself is not protected by the newer cap design found on the Generation 2 models.
Based on the features you're looking for, I would recommend the Portable Power Watchdog Surge Protector with Bluetooth, WiFi, and Emergency Shut Down part # HU62VR. It is a 50 amp model that includes the weather-resistant connection cover along with Bluetooth monitoring and the Emergency Power Off feature.
