Question:

I have a 2022 GMC sierra 1500 and tow a NuCamp Tab400 camper. When I hitch the truck and camper I notice the back end of the truck s a couple inches. The tongue weight is about 500 pounds but that is well below the limit of the truck 900 lbs. What can I do to minimize the sag when I hitch the camper to the truck?

Thanks for the reply. I rough guess would be 350 to 500 pounds of gear in the bed.

@JohnD You're welcome! That's definitely contributing to the sag because now you're pretty close or at your Silverado's tongue weight capacity. The stuff in the bed really adds up, which is why I think the SumoSprings item # SS45FR are going to be the best option for you. Whatever you decide to do, I highly recommend staying away from those Timbrens you were looking at. They make daily driving pretty unbearable. A weight distribution hitch would also help but with your NuCamp Tab400 camper's tongue being so crowded, I think it'll be more trouble than swapping out your factory bump stops with the SumoSprings item # SS45FR.
