Question:
I have a 2022 GMC sierra 1500 and tow a NuCamp Tab400 camper. When I hitch the truck and camper I notice the back end of the truck s a couple inches. The tongue weight is about 500 pounds but that is well below the limit of the truck 900 lbs. What can I do to minimize the sag when I hitch the camper to the truck?

Welcome back John! To address the sagging issue in your 2022 GMC Sierra 1500, I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs item # SS45FR. These will replace your factory bump stops and provide up to an additional 1,500 lbs of support for your factory suspension.
The SumoSprings item # SS45FR are great for issues like this. These are progressive rate springs that only engage when you put weight on the rear end of your truck. The more weight you put on them the more they engage. This keeps your rear end from sagging once you hook your trailer up. They also work well if you haul heavy loads in your bed or load it up when you go camping. The best part about the item # SS45FR is that they will not affect your daily driving.
Please note that the SumoSprings item # SS45FR will not work if you have Adaptive Ride Control or the AT4 model.
How much gear do you put in the bed of your truck when you tow?

Thanks for the reply. I rough guess would be 350 to 500 pounds of gear in the bed.
