Question:
Hey I was going to see if you guys could help me source some parts to rebuild a M101A2 trailer surge brake system. I know I need to replace the master cylinder/actuator, dampener shock/spring and the pintle itself. I dont know if just replacing the parts is an option or if im better off just buying a whole lunette assembly that bolts to the trailer. Getting communication through email will help a lot once I can send pictures to help give a better idea of how to go about this, thanks Zane

Hi Zane! I can already tell you we won't have parts to rebuild that actuator. The best solution would be to replace it with one like the Dexter Adjustable-Channel Brake Actuator - Painted - Drum - Lunette Ring - Weld On - 12,500 lbs # T1891100.
If you don't want to use a lunette ring, now would be a good time to switch to a standard coupler. I believe that has a standard 50º A-frame (double check that) so you could use the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator - Drum - Primed - A-Frame - 2" Ball - 8,000 lbs # DM8609502 if you want that option.
What are you using the trailer for?
