Can Furrion Chill Cube AC Unit Work With OneConnect Touch Screen On A 2024 KZ Durango Gold 360req?

I have a 2024 KZ Durango Gold 360req and it has 3 ducted w/heatpump and they are controlled through the OneConnect app and touch screen on wall so would these chill cubes be compatible and what all do I need for the swap?

Hey Brian, thanks for reaching out. It is possible to install Chill Cube units on your KZ Durango 5th wheel, but the Chill Cube units will not be compatible with the OneConnect system. They have to use their own thermostat, and right now the only known compatible thermostat is the one Furrion makes specifically for the Chill Cube. So it is possible to upgrade the AC, but it will mean installing a separate thermostat for each unit. You won't be able to control them with the OneConnect touch screen anymore.
That said, if you still want to upgrade, I recommend the following:
- Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump - Ducted - 18K Btu - Black - R32 # FR97TQ
This comes with the 18K ducted heat pump unit, distribution box and remote control. Doing the remotes will be a lot easier than wiring in a wall thermostat.
What kind of AC unit do you have now? Are they failing, or are you just looking for something with more cooling capacity?

Thank you for your response, my unit has 3 Coleman units and they are fine. One was already replaced the first year though and they really don't cool as well as I would expect especially for 3 and I love that the chill cube has built in soft starts so an added bonus. However, I really love that my app controls all the ACs and use that always so these may not be my answer.
