Hi John,
I'd be happy to help get your Aliner hooked up. For a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan, we do not currently offer a plug and play 7 way wiring harness, but you can build a complete towing setup starting with the Curt T Connector # C56331 if your van does not already have trailer wiring. That will provide the lighting functions for the trailer. From there, you'll need the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 to add a fully functional 7 way connector capable of powering the trailer's electric brakes and other 7 way functions.
Since your Aliner has electric drum brakes, you'll also want a brake controller for smooth and predictable braking. My recommendation is the Redarc Tow Pro Elite # RED44FR. I really like this controller because it gives you proportional braking performance while keeping the interior looking clean with its small dash mounted control knob. There's no bulky box hanging below the dash, and once it's set up, it does a great job of providing smooth braking without feeling abrupt or uneven.
I completely understand wanting to make sure you get the right parts the first time. Trailer wiring and brake controller installations can feel intimidating, especially when you're trying to avoid unnecessary modifications to your van. The combination of the # C56331, # ETBC7, and # RED44FR will give you a complete setup for towing your Aliner safely. If you'd rather have the wiring professionally installed, we also have an installer locator available to help you find a shop in your area. I have attached the installation video of the ETBC7 on a Grand Caravan to help with your decision.
What kind of trips do you want with the Aliner, mountains, state parks, or off grid adventures?
