The Curt Trailer Hitch Spare Tire Mount # c31006 is not going to accept a 10" rim, unfortunately. What kind of trailer or vehicle are you needing this for? 235/80R10 is a very odd tire size, but I likely have another option that can be used.

Thank you for the quick response. I am trying to find a spare tire carrier for a 2” receiver. I am moving the spare tire from under a 2026 Alpine Avalanche 379mb to the hitch if possible. Any suggestions?

@Steve Makes sense. And I just looked up your 2026 Alpine Avalanche 379mb and I think you put the tire size in incorrectly. It looks like the tire size should have been 235/80R16 (instead of the R10 you mentioned in the question). With that being said, the Curt Trailer Hitch Spare Tire Mount # c31006 will definitely work with that tire size! Just note that it does not include any hardware. If you are wanting one that does include the hardware, check out the etrailer Spare Tire Mount for Hitch - 2" Hitch # e98ZR. It's basically identical to the Curt option, but ours includes all the necessary hardware (hitch pin, wheel mounting hardware, hitch aligner, and the wrench to get everything tightened down). It will also work with a 16" wheel perfectly!
