You sure can Angela. The Curt 60x24 Hitch Cargo Carrier item # C18152 has a 500 lbs capacity so it's definitely going to work with a bike. We get pictures all the time of people putting wild things in cargo carriers so a bike isn't going to be an issue. The interior dimensions are 60" long x 24" wide x 5-1/2" deep. You'll just want to make sure you get your bike tied down and secured well. You can use Ratchet straps like our item # e72NR that'll hook to the rails.

The Curt 60x24 Hitch Cargo Carrier item # C18152 is designed to fit a hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a angled shank with a 2-1/2" rise that'll help with clearance when you're back down an incline or going over speedbumps in a shorter vehicle.

If the carrier blocks your rear lights and you're going to be using it at night, I strongly recommend adding the etrailer License Plate and LED Tail Light Mounting Kit for Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier item # e98943-44LED. This will keep you from getting pulled over and hassled for not having rear signals.

What kind of bike do you have and what vehicle are you going to be putting the carrier on?

Hello! In terms of weight, yes, but there's no mechanisms to secure a bike. You can strap it and all, but I am not sure it will be secure.

As long as your bike tires fit inside the carrier and you use multiple tie-downs, your should be fine.

I agree with the other comments but would add it can work especially if you lay it flat and secure it that ways. I would be reluctant to try to have the bike upright.
