Experience With BulletProof Hitches Road Suppressor Adjustable Channel Bracket

Question:

Evening, I am serious considering the medium duty Bulletproof Road Suppressor channel to channel coupler for a future project build. I am not seeing very much information about the ride quality of this item and was curious if you have had any personal experience with this product. I ask because what I heard about the Road Suppressor two ball has not been favorable. But I dont believe the trailer coupler suffers from the same limitations as the two ball suppressor. Hey Rob! There isn't a large amount of feedback available on the # BPH39MR, and I wouldn't necessarily make a 1:1 comparison to the dual-ball Road Suppressor since the two products function a bit differently.

BulletProof Hitches has a strong reputation for building high-quality towing products, and the design is intended to absorb road shock and reduce trailer chucking. Based on their track record, I would expect it to perform as intended and provide a smoother towing experience.

I am in the middle of building an overlanding style utility trailer for the work I do in remote areas of the country setting up communications sites. And am looking at reducing jarring on the equipment I move in and out of these sites. What I am attempting to build is a highly modular hitch assembly with a dual receiver connection on the trailer side. This gives me flexibility to switch out different setup configurations. Because as I am discovering not all systems work identically. Now with all that said I am entertaining the idea of stacking some systems such as the Bulletproof channel to channel coupler to work with a WDH on road and potentially a Curt Rockerball or Gen-Y Glyder off road. Even though I know these shouldn't be stacked and that the Gen-Y is not intended for off roading but I can't help but feel that is intended for those people crawling over rocks. That is not my purpose. Regardless, I appreciate the feedback. For the price it is not cheap but it's not thousands of dollars either so I may seriously consider making this purchase and providing any feedback possible. I am just bothered that there isn't more available reviews on this product specifically the trailer coupler. So again thank you for your assistance Rob

@RobertS yeah I searched externally as well and there just aren't a lot of people who have anything to say about it. It isn't brand new, but I don't think it has been around too long either. It may also be that the average person who would use this isn't the type to leave feedback. People are more inclined to leave negative feedback over positive so the lack of anything bad to say for now is probably a good indicator. Sorry you didn't think the information was helpful.
