Part Number: RM-RBK24-RSSC I have a 2018 Class C Ford E450, is this the correct kit that I need? Is anything extra needed for install. Thanks

Hey Dave, welcome back! Yes, the Roadmaster Reflex RV Steering Stabilizer with Mtg Brackets # RM-RBK24-RSSC is exactly what you'll need for your 2018 Ford E450 Class C. It comes with all the necessary brackets and hardware, so there is nothing else needed to be able to install and use it. Just keep in mind this kit is designed for vehicles with an OEM factory damper.

@DaveM Nice! Yea that steering stabilizer will make a noticeable difference in handling on that rig. I think you'll be happy with the results.

@DaveM The Roadmaster does work much better than the Bilstein damper did. After 8000 miles the OEM damper was worthless. But, a steering stabilizer is only part of the solution. In order of effect: Change alignment caster to +5. Put 5psi less in front tires than sticker says (don't use psi on tires!). Add the steering stabilizer. HD shocks. The Roadmaster is fine if your rv is under 30 ft. If over 30 ft the Safe T Plus is better.

It definitely will help but if you go through Wyoming, don’t count on it too much. You still have to hold your wheel with two hands. If the wind is blown from either direction there is no stabilization in the world that’s gonna do the job for you. You still have to fight it but overall it’s a good product.

Hey Dave, change the oem produce to the Roadmaster sway bar and the Roadmaster steering stabilizer on a class c 2017 jayco gray hawk. Made it a completely different driving machine! No more white knuckles.

Hello Dave, yes I had the steering device installed last year and really think its made a difference. I'm headed out Memorial Day for two weeks with some miles on I-75 south to the Everglades. Ill let you know how it performs with a real test\

Hi Dave, I installed the Roadmaster reflex steering stabilizer on my Entegra Odessey (Class C, E-450 Chassis) about a year ago. Installation was very easy, pretty much a bolt out, bolt in proposition taking about an hour or so. I was immediately impressed with the results. It reduced the white-knuckle, afraid to take one of my hands off the steering wheel situation. BTW although the Roadmaster steering stabilizer helps, nothing I am aware of will totally solve driving an RV in high winds. After all, it is a big box on wheels. Also, if the stabilizer does not solve all of your issues, I suggest looking into replacing the stock anti-sway bars and shocks. Front end Alignment is also a critical component on most RVs.
