Hi Reed, Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C67JR is the correct fit for your 2025 Subaru Outback Wilderness. It fits all models of the 2025 Outback including the Wilderness trim, and it’s a really nice option if you want something that looks clean and works well for bike racks, cargo carriers, or light towing. The cross tube is mostly hidden behind the bumper so once installed you mainly just see the receiver opening, which gives it a much more factory style appearance. Installation does require a small fascia trim cut underneath the bumper, but it is not visible once the hitch is installed and it’s a very common part of modern hidden style hitch installations on vehicles like the Outback.

If you plan to tow or use accessories with lights, the Curt wiring harness part # C56040 is the correct 4-way wiring kit for your Outback as well.

What are you planning to carry on the Wilderness most often, bikes, a cargo tray, or a small trailer?

The answer is yes, part # C67JR is the correct part for your wilderness, I have a 2024, I had no issues installing. I did watch a youtube video before starting. I have towed a 5' X 8' and a 6' X 12' U Hall Cargo trailer from San Antonio to Big Bend National Park with no issues.

@Chuck Wow, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It is always great hearing directly from someone who owns a Wilderness, especially with a newer 2024 model. I am really glad to hear the hitch installed smoothly for you. How was Big Bend? that sounds like so much fun.
