Hey Michael, thanks for reaching out.
I'm sorry to hear the buttons are not working. I completely understand the frustration you may be experiencing.
Since the jack # LC421366 is tied into the Ground Control system, you’ll want to check what voltage you are getting at the main control board for the tongue jack. When you do this, make sure you are completely disconnected from all charging sources.
I also reached out to Lippert to see if they had any further suggestions, and they asked for the following information:
Full VIN
Year of the unit
Make/model/floorplan
Date of manufacture
Date of purchase
Retail information
Photo of the tongue jack and leveling controller
You can reply below or to the email you receive with this information. Let me know what you find once you check the control board.

Mine worked just fine with shore power or on my dual 6volt batteries and or generator. I will assume the switches are faulty. It’s a great product and plug n play. Maybe you got a bad one. I also turned the main head unit so I can pull my tailgate down. Slick trick.

On my previous Ground Control tongue jack, when I went to pick up the trailer from an RV repair facility, the tongue jack wouldn't work with the buttons. I suspected a weak battery, so I plugged in the trailer cord to my truck. Still wouldn't work. The facility had replaced the floor in one of the slide rooms, and didn't have the trailer plugged in, so all the operations of the slide that they did depleted the battery charge. One of the RV techs came out to help me. He reset the Ground Control system from the control panel. Then it worked. I told him that if it was a dead or low battery causing the problem, it seemed to me that plugging the trailer cord into the truck (which was running) would have cleared the problem. He said, "No, the electronic brain on the control panel remembers the dead or low battery, and will not allow the jack buttons to work until the system is reset and it detects proper voltage." I doubt that this is your problem, as you stated that the jack works when activated by the system's computer. If that is true, then the electronic brain is detecting proper voltage to operate the jack. Wouldn't hurt to reset the system, though, if nothing else works.

Mine was plug and play and worked fine. Try checking the small plug coming from the trailer for corrosion. There may also be an in-line fuse you need to check.
