Can Kuat Class 4 V2 Kayak Carrier Fit OEM Crossbars of 2026 Hyundai Tucson

Question:
Regarding the Kuat Class 4 V2 Any idea if these will secure to 2026 Hyundai Tucson factory cross rails? The user guide mentions a minimum thickness of 1/2 cross bars but I cannot figure out a way to effectively measure the thickness of my factory cross rails. Second question is there any recommended maximum width for the kayak to be carried ? Thank you

Hey David, yes the Kuat Class 4 V2 Kayak Roof Rack # KU53VR that you referenced does fit the factory crossbars of your 2026 Hyundai Tucson. Since this carries the kayaks on their side it can basically fit any standard kayak width. What kayak do you have?

Great thanks for the reply Jameson. I have three the two wider ones are Ocean Kayak prowler 13 and Eddyline Sandpiper both max / beam width 28”.
