Question:
I’m adding AC to a DIY camper build and want something lower profile in black. I don’t have ducts, but I might add them later.

Hey Imani! The Advent Air # ADV76SR is a good pick if you want a black low-profile rooftop unit. It’s 10-1/8 inches tall, rated at 13,500 Btu, and works for ducted or ductless setups when paired with the Advent Air air distribution box with wall-mounted thermostat # ADV98SR.
That makes it a nice flexible route for a DIY build since you can use the same distribution kit whether you keep it direct-discharge or build ducting into the ceiling. What roof thickness are you working with on the camper, Imani? This kit is designed for roof thicknesses of 2-1/2" to 5" thick.
