Question:
I have a 2018 Winnebago Micro Minnie 1700BH with a non-ducted AC, and we do a fair amount of generator camping. I don’t want to go bigger than I need to, but I also don’t want another weak unit. Which way would you go?

Good morning Darnell, if you’re trying to stay practical with generator use, I’d usually start with one of the 13,500 Btu ductless systems first - either the Signature Mach 3 # CM58RR or the Roughneck Mach 3 # CM68RR. Those make the most sense if your current AC cooled reasonably well most of the time and you just need a fresh complete system. The Roughneck is just a better built unit that withstands the terrain and rough roads better, so that's up to you if you want to spend a bit more for that.
If your old unit always felt behind once the trailer got heat-soaked, then I’d look harder at the 15,000 Btu options like the Signature Mach 15 # CM93RR or Roughneck Mach 15 # CM88RR. The Signature Mach 3 is listed at 12.8 amps, and the Signature Mach 15 is listed at 13.9 amps, so the jump in power usage is there, but it isn’t huge. If you want, tell me what generator you’re running and where you camp most so I can finetune this recommendation for you :).
