Question:
Is the Morryde Goosetech adjustable on a Lippert Rhino pinbox? I have a Reese Goosebox 20K that makes my Jayco 321RSTS, with the Rhino pinbox, too tall for my factory-height 2026 Ram 3500 LB SRW, with the Ram OEM puck system. I have a Curt ball in the bed. lowest profile ball I could find Is the Morryde Goosetech shorter from the mount to the ball receiver? I think the Reese Goosebox is 27.64inch top to bottom?

Hi Eric,
I reached out to MORryde directly and they sent me the schematics for the GooseTech boxes. They all have the same dimensions but are rated for different weights based on differences in their internal rubber spring component. From the top of the box to the point it connects to the gooseneck ball is 22.818" which, is 4.83 inches shorter than your current Reese Goosebox that is 27.64 inches tall. The MORryde GooseTech part # MR74MV is rated only for trailers weighing 11.5K to 14K, so if you're needing a higher weight capacity you can use the MORryde GooseTech for 14K to 18K Trailers part # MR84MV or even the MORryde GooseTech for 18K+ Trailers part # MR24MV.
If you find that your trailer's nose is still tilted up even after switching to the MORryde GooseTech, you can use an over-under axle conversion kit to get 4.5" to 5" more lift. This kit works only with double eye leaf spring suspensions and will move your leaf springs above the axle. If you have a 3" diameter round axle, you can use the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Uncer Conversion Kit part # K71-385-00. Not only will this kit give you more height, but it will also help to add more ground clearance, so you don't bottom out on driveways or rough roads. If you have a 2 3/8" diameter axle you can use the Dexter Over-Under Conversion Kit part # K71-384-00, please note this specifically works with a 2 3/8" diameter axle and 1 5/8" wide leaf springs.
What trailer are you going to put the MORryde GooseTech pin box on?

Thank you, this is exactly what I needed to know! It will be on a 2026 Jayco 321rsts. Should be the 11,500 - 14,000 Goosetech right?
