Does Transmission Cooler Install in 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Require Adapter

Question:
You show in your video of the 2018 Jeep GC part number Derale 13035 quick adapter is used installing the Derale 8000 Trans cooler. Will this part work on a 2017 Jeep GC also?

Hey Steve, I checked with Derale and they don't require the insta adapter on the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee to install a transmission cooler so you would not need one to install a Derale cooler like the part # D13503. I really like this specific transmission cooler as it's larger and a very efficient style so it works great to keep transmission temps down. Do you do any towing with your Grand Cherokee?

I used a barbed fitting that fit inside the hose to connect the hoses together.

It looks to be a much simpler way to install the the hose in the radiator. I realize you do not have to but will the part 13035 work on my 2017 Jeep GC? Thank you and yes I pull an ATV trailer.
