Can B&B RV Multi-Purpose Hatch Be Mounted Vertically

Question:

Can you mount this door vertically? How good of seal for rain? I have a small spot to install in the side of travel trailer. It will give access to empty space under bed inside trailer. Thanks

Hey Thomas, yes you can! The B&B RV Multi-Purpose Hatch # BM92MR will work horizontally or vertically. It does include some butyl tape for installation, but I would go ahead and add sealant around the edges to make sure water stays out. The hatch itself will have a good seal as long as the door is secured and locked.
