Replacement Converter Panel for 2022 GD Imagine 22MLE
Published 04/14/2026 >
Question:
Hello, we have a 2022 GD Imagine 22mle 30amp camper and our wfco does not have lithium charging auto detect. Which converter would work best with 2 100 ah lithium batteries? Also do we need a new converter since I understand that our converter will charge the batteries to 80 and our solar 165 watt solar panel will top them off. Is this true? Could you recommend a few different converters if we need a new one? Thank you Viki

Hey Viki, so you would want a new converter that has a lithium charging profile as lithium batteries require a very specific voltage to charge like it sounds like you are aware of. The best option we have would be the WFCO part # WF96FR which is rated for 35 amps, has a lithium profile, and it has an auto detect feature that allows it to know exactly what battery type you have. This is really only option we have that would suit your application but it's a really great option that you'll be really happy with. Do you have a permanently installed solar setup currently on the roof?
