Hi Tony, I completely understand wanting to keep that clean factory look on your X5, especially with a hidden hitch that doesn’t leave anything visible when you’re not using it.

The best option for that is the Stealth Hitch part # SH69VR. This is the cleanest and most hidden setup available for your vehicle because the receiver actually removes when not in use, so once it’s off, you won’t see anything under the bumper. It’s a really nice solution if you want something that blends in and keeps the BMW looking stock.

One thing to keep in mind is that this version is designed for hitch-mounted accessories like bike racks or cargo carriers and is not set up for towing by itself. It also will not fit models with the M Sport package or M models, so that’s something we would want to confirm on your vehicle before moving forward.

If you are planning to tow a trailer, there are other options we can look at that will give you towing capability, but they won’t be quite as hidden as this one.
