Is the easy grease hub the same as a vault hun?

No, they're different systems Brain. Any hub can be used for the Vault lubrication system so long as the hub bore matches the diameter of the cap.

An Easy Grease Hub Assembly like item # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K has an open ended grease cap to access a grease zerk on an EZ lube axle. Then you put grease into the axle to lubricate it.

The Dexter Vault Hybrid Lubrication System item # DX52UR would attach to the hub and you would fill it with a special hybrid oil that acts like grease. This provides a pressurized system that forces water out rather than allowing it in when your trailer is submerged. It is exclusively for lubricating the bearings.

Please note that Installing a Vault cap seals the hub, removing the ability to use the E-Z Lube's spindle zerk fitting for easy greasing.
