I am trying to determine if I will need sway control for 35foot travel trailer to go along with this hitch? I have a 2026 Chevy 3500 DRW truck.

Hello again Michael; you don’t have to run sway control with that setup, but I would recommend it. A 35' trailer like your Brinkley 297 is a long lever arm behind the axles and has a tall, flat side profile. This makes it more susceptible to being pushed around by crosswinds and passing trucks. Sway control will definitely help with overall stability.
The Shocker Sway Control Friction Arm Bar Kit For Trailers Over 10,000 lbs # SHK27YR will work with this setup. You will also need the Gen-Y Dual Sway Control Bracket #325-GH-300-1 to attach it to the # 325-GH-1125. I recommend running the dual sway control bars for best results.
