Best Replacement For The Lippert Quick Stabilizer, Lippert PSX1 or Trailer Valet?

Updated 03/25/2026 | Published 03/22/2026

Question:

I have the Lippert Quick ® RV Stabilizer - Double Leg Kit 2022016065 on the front and rear of my Ember 22ETS. I would like to replace it with either the Lippert PSX1 or the Trailer Valet Drill-Powered Stabilizer Jack - 26-1/2inch Lift. I would like to know if these are both bolt in replacements for the original system and in your opinion which would be better. The electric Lippert or the manual trailer valet? I like the simplicity of the Trailer valet but the automation of the Lippert. I do not like the Lippert Quick because there is too much to fuss with when changing camp sites and dealing with uneven ground. Not every place is a nice cement slab to park on. Thanks Paul

Hi Paul, I completely get where you’re coming from on the “too much fuss” part, especially when you’re not on a perfectly level pad. Those cross-frame stabilizers can turn into a bit of trial and error on uneven ground, so it makes sense you’re looking for something that feels easier and more predictable at each stop.

Between the two options, I recommend the Trailer Valet part # TV68FR its going to give you the most flexibility on uneven sites. Each leg adjusts independently, so you’re not fighting both sides trying to touch down at the same time, and using a drill keeps it quick without adding wiring or switches. It’s a very simple, reliable setup that tends to feel more controlled when the ground isn’t ideal. As far as fitment, it’s not a true bolt-in replacement for your current Lippert Quick system. The brackets are more universal, so you’ve got a good chance of making it work, but you will want to compare measurements and be prepared for possible drilling to get everything lined up properly.

The PSX1 part # LC369774 is faster and more refined than the Quick stabilizer, but both legs are still tied together, so you can run into that same back-and-forth adjustment on uneven ground. It’s a great option if you want push-button convenience, but it doesn’t fully eliminate the frustration you described. I was not able to find a bolt hole diagram for this option but I can tell you it's 68-11/16" from center-hole to center-hole on the brackets.

Based on what you shared, the Trailer Valet sounds like it lines up better with your goal of less hassle and more control at uneven campsites, as long as you’re okay with a slightly more involved install. If you want to be 100 percent sure on fit, we’d just need to confirm your frame spacing and mounting area to avoid surprises during install.

Where do you camp most, and do you already carry a cordless drill you trust?
